Muktinath is of the religious importance to both Hindus and Buddhists. The famous temple of Lord Muktinath is situated about 18 kms north east of Jomsom in the north central part of Nepal, at an altitude of about 3750m. It is believed that all miseries and sorrows are relieved once you visit this temple (Mukti = Nirvana, Nath = God). The main shrine of Muktinath is a pagoda-shaped temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu. Manakamana is the wish-fulfilling goddess; this belief is so ingrained in the collective consciousness of the Nepalese that many makes a trip to Manakamana every year without fail.



Muktinath and Manakamana Tours Itinerary


Day 1 : Arrive at Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and sightseeing of Kathmandu city.

Day 2 : Drive to Kurintar & by cable car we visit to Manakamana temple & continue drive to Pokhara.

Day 3 : Full day Pokhara sightseeing trip to Bindhabasani temple, Tal Barahi, Mahadev cave, Devi’s fall boating on Phewa Lake.

Day 4 : Early morning flight to Jomsom & trek to Kagbeni (2hrs).

Day 5 : Trek from Kagbeni to Muktinath (4hrs)

Day 6 : Trek back from Muktinath to Jomsom.

Day 7 : Fly back from Jomsom to Pokhara and same day connecting flight to Kathmandu.

Day 8 : again sightseeing of kathmandu Valley, shopping and at last farewell party tonight.

Day 9 : Back to onward destination
